Instant gratification - Hello World!

Set up your development environment. I recommend Eclipse with Android plugin. Follow these instructions.

Let's do a quick hello world program.

1. Create a new AVD

Who what why Andy?

Andy is nick for Android - Google's open source mobile platform. I've a hunch Andy is going to be a big boy in the mobile playground. The hunch being backed by Google's deals with several phone companies and a developer-friendly platform (read - Java! as opposed to iPhone's highly retarded Objective C). So I plan to play a bit with Andy, develop a couple of application and see how it goes.
